Stars Orbiting a Black Hole

Sweet thing I found linked at Smithsonian Magazine. Also cool is that they use this awesome big ol' orange laser now to compensate for the fluctuations of the atmosphere.

Note star S0-2, with the neat little orbit in the center. It only takes 15 years for it to orbit once. Also note S0-16, to it's left. It gets as close to the black hole at the center of the galaxy as the Earth is to the Sun. Crazy cool.
